Introduction to Heart Rate Variability

Focus: Physiotherapy, Physical Education, Nursing, Medicine, and Biology

 

In this six-hour course, the students will learn the history and concept of heart rate variability (HRV). In addition, the clinical interpretation of HRV measures mostly used in cardiac autonomic control assessment will be presented, and their clinical application will be discussed and illustrated using scientific articles related to this topic.
