Focus: Translation
How does Brazilian Literature find its way into the English language? What is the landscape and the challenges that follow such process? After four years of a research project called “Exporting Brazilian Literature” we will attempt to answer such questions with our main findings regarding the outline of Brazilian literature in English, as well as practical discussions of the challenges that potential translators may face in translating our works.
