Dynamics of Tourism: A Special Emphasis on Health and Wellness Tourism focusing on Ayurveda

Focus: Tourism

As we know, tourism is one of the best catalyst available for transforming an economy from a lower level to a much higher level, provided strict measures are taken to minimize the negative impacts and maximize the positive impacts of tourism. The evolution of tourism as a product/service revealed that all types and forms of tourism in their own way help in improving the quality of life of the people or residents. One such form, namely, Health and Wellness Tourism, is going to have a bright future in the coming years because of the Health and Wellness prospects associated with it. Though the present pandemic crisis/situation projects some uncertainty to the tourism industry, the situation will soon come back to normalcy and the tourism industry will witness gradual progress in the coming years. The demand for Health and Wellness Tourism will also gain more prominence, especially Ayurveda, and if proper care is taken for rejuvenating Ayurveda, the tradition will, in turn, aid in rejuvenating the health of people in the next years.
