Focus: Religion Science
[Español] El taller pretende presentar investigadoras e investigadores del Sur Global que trabajan en la intersección de religión y diversidad sexual y de género para estudiantes de pregrado e posgrado interesadas e interesados en eses temas. Las investigadoras invitadas y los investigadores invitados forman parte del Grupo de Investigación indecencias – Religión, Género y Sexualidad, y tienen amplia trayectoria de investigación y trabajo en el área, desde perspectivas feministas, queer y decoloniais. De esa manera, se pretende ampliar el horizonte de conocimiento e investigación de las y los estudiantes y facilitar el intercambio de conocimientos producidos en el Sur Global, articulando redes y grupos de investigación. Cada invitada e invitado tendrá de 10 a 20 minutos para presentar su trayectoria, producción y principales intereses, el anfitrión y la anfitriona destacarán algunas obras publicadas por ellas y ellos, y al fin, estudiantes serán invitadas e invitados a hace preguntas y comentarios desde sus propias experiencias y temas de investigación.
[English] The workshop intends to present researchers from/in the Global South that work at the intersection of religion and gender and sexual diversity to undergraduate and graduate students interested in those themes. The researchers invited are part of the Research Group indecencies – Religion, Gender and Sexuality, and have a wide trajectory of research and work in the area, taking on feminist, queer and decolonial perspectives. This way, it intends to widen the student’s horizons of knowledge and research and facilitate the exchange of knowledges produced in the Global South, articulating research networks and groups. Each guest will have 10 to 20 min to present his/her trajectory, production and main interests, the hosts will highlight some works published by them and, at the end, students will be invited to ask questions and make comments from their own experiences and research themes.
