Juiz de Fora is regionally known for its wide and refined gastronomic options. Craft beer manufacturers and restaurants of worldwide cuisine offer an opportunity to taste both traditional, local and global food & beverages.
In downtown, there are several business restaurants which offer meals for about 10 BRL for a set meal, or about 35 BRL/kg at self-service restaurants. There are a lot of restaurants around the campus area too.
UFJF also counts with its own Restaurant, which is open Mon-Fri from 11AM to 2PM, offering complete and balanced meals for a fixed price of just 7,50 BRL. You can also have snacks and lunch at the several cafeterias around the campus.
