Industrial chemist from the Federal University of Ouro Preto (Brazil). MSc Degree on Sanitation, Environment and Water Resources from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (Brazil), with research on micropollutants occurrence and abatement in sewage treatment plants. PhD Degree on Sanitation, Environment and Water Resources from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (Brazil), with research on control of diffuse emissions in anaerobic-based sewage treatment plants. Currently is the technical director of Brandt Meio Ambiente company and lecturer at the Post-Graduation Programme in Civil Engineering (PEC) at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF) Brazil, carrying out research and working with industry, government and civil society organizations on topics related to environmental impacts assessment; environmental risk assessment; sewage treatment; monitoring, modeling and abatement of odors in sanitation projects; biogas and biomethane production and upgrading; occurrence of environmental micropollutants.
