Professor and researcher in the ​​water resources and remote sensing areas at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (MG-Brazil). Degree in Civil Engineering from Federal University of Juiz de Fora (MG-Brazil). MSc Degree in Civil Engineering (knowledge area: Water Resources) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro PEC/COPPE/UFRJ (RJ-Brazil) with research on remote sensing and hydrological modeling in watershed. DSc Degree in Agricultural Engineering (knowledge area: Water Resources) from the Federal University of Viçosa DEA/UFV (MG-Brazil) with research on transport and dispersion of pollutants with fluorescent tracers. Post-doctoral internship at Texas A&M University, USA, developing research with hydrological modeling on a large scale. Currently Professor in the Department of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering and the Postgraduate Programme Programme in Civil Engineering (PEC) at UFJF.
