I am an Environmental Engineer from the Federal University of Viçosa (Brazil), with research on municipal wastewater treatment and reuse. I have a MSc Degree in Civil Engineering (knowledge area: Sanitation and Environment) also from the Federal University of Viçosa (Brazil), with research on sewage sludge treatment (production of biosolids) and reuse. I also have a PhD degree in Environment from the University of Brighton (UK), with research on the removal of human enteric virus, bacteriophages and faecal indicator bacteria from municipal wastewater in traditional wastewater treatment systems. I am currently an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering (ESA), and Head of the Post-Graduation Programme in Civil Engineering (PEC) at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF) Brazil. Research focus on municipal wastewater and sewage sludge treatment and reuse, health-related water microbiology and risk assessment.. |
