Research Projects:
Description: Objective: Reactivate and monitor the negotiations that take place through the website remat.eco.br, developed by the UFJF Research Group Pares, for exchanges, donations and sales of used construction materials. The results are compiled and evaluated in terms of their contribution to mitigating the environmental impacts linked to the materials, especially embodied CO2, and in terms of their social impact. Methodology: It consists of classifying the negotiated materials and constructive elements, raising the quantities by category and transforming the data into the amount of embodied CO2 that was no longer emitted into the atmosphere through reuse. At the same time, the Remat extension program will provide data on the regions most present in the negotiations, in order to assess the project’s social impact.
