I am a Ph.D. in Sanitation, Environment, and Water Resources from the Department of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). I have graduated in Chemistry also from the UFMG (2007). I am Adjunct Lecturer III in the Department of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering at the Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora (UFJF) and is a part of the permanent faculty team of the Civil Engineering Postgraduate Program at UFJF (PEC/UFJF). The researcher focus on domestic and industrial wastewater treatment, advanced oxidative processes (AOP), environmental microcontaminants (dynamics, detection/quantification, and treatment), analytical chemistry (chromatography and physicochemical analyses in environmental matrices), waste methanation, and treatment and reuse of water treatment plant residues.
