Aim & Goals
The main aim of the Postgraduate Programme in Civil Engineering (PEC) is to equip students with a comprehensive and recent knowledge and understanding of Civil Engineering as well as Sanitary and Environmental Engineering. PEC alumni will be capable of applying their engineering skills working in different challenging situations, as well as contributing towards new knowledge developing future research. PEC has also the following goals:
- To offer a systemic view of Civil and Environmental Engineering to the students, teaching and developing research using sustainable technology.
- To contribute towards the higher education tripod: teaching; research; and knowledge transfer.
- To create new knowledge in order to tackle engineering issues raised by different civil, industrial and agricultural sectors.
- To graduate MSc Engineers capable of attending reginal demands, as well as national and international.
