The magazine Educação em Foco, the official organ of the School of Education at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), plays a relevant role in the institution and in academia. It is an instrument that disseminates the production of its research centers, as well as of its master’s and doctoral graduate programs. In the same way, it has been constituted as an interface with the scientific production of other national and international institutions. Thanks to the journal, we give visibility to our research production and dissertations and theses defended in our program. The themes addressed by our issues in the articles published with the collaboration of numerous national and international researchers, with growing demand by the academic community, have served as an interchange with various institutions.
