Graduated in Biological Sciences (2016), Master in Ecology (2019) and PhD in Biodiversity and Nature Conservation from UFJF, concentration area Behavior, Ecology and Systematics (2022) from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora – MG (UFJF). She is currently a postdoc at the Cell Biology Laboratory at UFJF, investigating the roles of eosinophils in granulomas during schistosomiasis mansoni. In 2019 she was a substitute professor in the Biology department of the Institute of Biological Sciences at UFJF in the subjects of Cellular and Molecular Biology and Cellular Biology Laboratory for the Biological Sciences course. She has experience in Cellular Biology and Ecology, working on interface research projects between these areas, with emphasis on the study of cellular ecology and cellular mechanisms of inflammatory cells during schistosomiasis mansoni in natural and experimental infection models. She has experience in the following topics: Secretion and cellular communication; Histopathology of infectious diseases; Transmission electron microscopy (TEM); quantitative MET; Whole Slide Imaging (WSI), Immunohistochemistry and Image Analysis.
