He holds a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF; 2021). As an undergraduate student, he completed three years of Junior Research Fellowship at the Laboratory of Cell Biology at UFJF. He holds a master’s degree from the graduate program in Cell Biology at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG; 2021), and is currently a PhD student at the same institution. He has experience in the field of immune system cell biology, using electron microscopy techniques to study the structure and functioning of eosinophils in inflammatory conditions. Furthermore, he develops a research project on eosinophil responses to the SARS-CoV-2 virus and the pathology of COVID-19.
