Gustavo Castanheira

Graduated in Pharmacy with specialization in Clinical Analysis from the Federal University of Ouro Preto (1996). She developed scientific initiation work from 1993 to 1995, together with the Parasitology laboratory (UFOP), developing work with Trypanosoma cruzi (strains Be 62 and 78), under the guidance of Professor Marta de Lana. From 1997 to 2002, he worked in the in-house Pharmacy at the Hospital e Maternidade Bom Jesus in the municipality of Nova Canaã do Norte (MT) as technical manager, stock control and prescription drugs. From 1996 to 2002 he worked as a Biochemist at the City Hall of Nova Canaã do Norte (MT). From 1997 to 2000 he taught Physics and Biology classes (high school) at the state school in Nova Canaã do Norte (MT). From 2002 to 2006 he worked as a Biochemical Pharmacist in the City Hall of the city of Sete Lagoas MG). From 2003 to 2005 he taught Microbiology and Hematology at the CENSO technical school in the city of Sete Lagoas (MG) in the technical course of Pathology (laboratory technician). From 2005 to 2012 he worked as a Pharmacist in the city of Fortuna de Minas (MG) at the Farmácia de Minas unit, through dispensing medication, customer service, inventory control and prescription drugs. He acted in the assembly and structuring of the unit. From 2013 to 2014 he taught Biology and Chemistry classes at Impulso high school and pre-university entrance exams in the city of Sete Lagoas (MG). He worked from May 2017 until 01/16/2022 as a pharmacist-biochemist at the Empresa Brasileira de Serviços Hospitalares (EBSERH) working in the clinical analysis laboratory of the University Hospital as a Biochemist and Preceptor. Graduated in postgraduate studies in Preceptorship at UFRN (December 2020) and studying for a master’s degree at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (MG) in Immunology and Genetics. He was transferred to the Hospital das Clínicas at UFMG where he works as a night shift pharmacist-biochemist at EBSERH developing activities in the area of Clinical Analysis until the present moment.
