Graduated in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora – UFJF (2010). Holds a PhD in Sciences from the Department of Medicine at the Federal University of São Paulo – UNIFESP (2017), having studied for a period at Monash University – Australia (2015). Post-doctorate by the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of São Paulo (2019). He has experience in the field of cellular and molecular biology, performing work in nephrology with an emphasis on the study of podocyte biology. He works mainly in the study of the action of substances caused by short currents in the development of kidney diseases, exploring physiological, metabolic and pharmacological aspects in experimental models.
