The Federal University of Juiz de Fora will host a Sports Science Conference in partnership with the international delegations that will practice for the Olympics  at the campus of the institution.

On August 3rd and 4th, in the amphitheater of the Faculty of Engineering, it will be held an academic debate, focusing on the exchange of experiences among researchers of the institution and the professionals from several fields who will be working in the preparation of athletes for the competition.

During the two-day event, six lectures and five discussion panels will address topics such as Olympic preparation, training periodization, exercise physiology, sports nutrition and sports psychology. The international participation will feature simultaneous translation by UFJF’s International Relations Office.

The conference will be open for 400  participants and the registration will take place between July 11th and 29th.
