Enrollment in Subjects

General information

Enrollment in subjects is an act of responsibility of the student, as determined by article 12 of the PPEE Regulation. It must be carried out every quarter, within the stipulated deadlines.

Art. 12 Students of the Master’s and Doctorate course in Electrical Engineering must apply for enrollment in the subjects of their interest, with the consent of their Advisor or Course Advisor, within the deadline established in the school calendar.
§1º – Enrollment will be carried out at the Course Coordination Office, which will make arrangements with CDARA (Coordination of Academic Affairs and Records).
§2º – Master’s students must mandatorily choose their advisor, with his/her consent, within 6 (six) months from the date of entry into the course.

Procedures

To enroll in subjects, the student must:

  • consult the courses offered in the Academic Calendar;
  • discuss with your advisor the subjects you should enroll in;
  • fill in the online application form, which will be sent by email.

2- Filling vacancies:

The professor responsible for the discipline is the one who authorizes the release of the vacancy to attend the isolated discipline, not being able to appeal to his decision.

3- Confirmation of enrollment:

Confirmation of enrollment will be given after the presentation by the student of the application form for enrollment in an isolated subject signed by the teacher(s) responsible for the subject(s). The form must be delivered to the Coordination of the Postgraduate Program in Electrical Engineering.

 

Important notes:

1- It is not necessary to authenticate the copies, however, the presentation of the original documents is MANDATORY;

2- The special student of isolated discipline will be allowed to attend up to a maximum of twenty-five percent (25%) of the total credits required in the Program.
