The graduate of the Master’s and Doctorate courses in Electrical Engineering has a solid background in basic topics related to one of the two areas of activity of the PPEE, Electric Energy Systems or Electronic Systems. The Electronic Systems area has two main lines of research: Signal Processing/Telecommunications and Power Electronics.
The existing synergy between professors and students from both areas and the curricular structure provides a holistic view of Electrical Engineering to the PPEE graduate.
It can also be highlighted as a graduate profile:
– Ability to integrate multidisciplinary problems;
– Ability to design projects and propose technically and economically competitive solutions;
– Ability to integrate teams and lead research and development projects;
– Ability to absorb new technologies and creatively visualize new applications for Engineering.
Graduates will continue to be updated on important reports in the area of Electrical Engineering, to maintain the student’s integration with the Graduate Program.
