The Course:

The course is based on broad and basic concepts, aiming interdisciplinarity. The goal is to enable academic mobility, avoiding Premature professionalization. After the first cycle, the Students of this course have three career possibilities: going directly to the job market as Bachelor’s of Mathematical Sciences; attending a graduate school; or choosing one of the second cycle courses – Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering; or a degree in Physics, Mathematics, or Chemistry.

Professional prospects:

The Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences is able to develop scientific or technological studies. In order to specialize, they can attend any graduate course (Specialization, Masters and Doctorate degrees). Another option is to continue studying in one of the courses of the second cycle, which will enable the acquisition of a second degree.
