The Reproductive Biology Center (CBR) of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF) was created in 1970 and since then has become a body of wide relevance in the areas of Biology and Toxicology of Reproduction, in addition to being used by students, professionals and researchers from various fields in the University.

With its expanded physical structure, it has a center of multidisciplinary research covering various academic areas, such as cardiology, endocrinology, nephrology and dentistry, as well as providing space for experimental surgery, preclinical testing of drugs and medicines and an environment for an embryo bank.

Through its resources and space for the proliferation of research and scientific results, the CBR increased still furthers its importance in the development of UFJF and other educational institutions in the region.
