Master’s and Doctorate Degrees

The training of professionals with high levels of skills that contribute to the development of scientific, cultural and technological production in the country is one of the guidelines of the 38 Master’s and 17 doctoral degree courses offered by UFJF. As a result of this premise, the programs have more and more published articles in national and international journals of high impact, get awards for dissertations and theses and produce advanced and relevant research.

In parallel, the consolidation in UFJF’s graduate courses is followed by the policy of internationalization of its activities. The Master’s and Doctorate courses have agreements with foreign universities which establish partnerships with research groups, receive professors for lectures and workshops and encourage exchanges of students and local researchers. The Master’s courses have an average duration of two years while and doctorate courses last for four years. The registration period in place filling processes vary according to each program, which publishes the notices on their websites.
