  1. CONCENTRATION AREA

Social Issues, Territory, Social Policy and Social Work

The debate held today in Social Work and even in the field of public policies and management needs to consider the diversity and particularities that the spatial differences will impose to the contemporary processes of capitalist accumulation and its impacts on the settings of social issues.

The social issue and its confrontation through policies, mediated in their local expressions, it is constituted as the articulating axis of approaches both in relation to the study of policies and public management, as in relation to the discussions relevant to the professional work of Social Work and to the social subjects.
