The Graduate Program in Linguistics has two journals:
Veredas Journal has the mission to publish scientific papers, essays, translations and reviews, necessarily unpublished and of recognized academic quality, produced by national and foreign researchers, solely in the area of Linguistics, theoretical and applied, and in its various sub-areas.
Gatilho is a biannual publication organized and directed by the students of the Graduate Program in Linguistics of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora. Until 2007, the journal published articles from Linguistics and Literature. From issue 6 on, it became a specific publication in the area of Linguistics.
Gatilho publishes the following (unpublished) textual genres: articles, reviews, translations, reports on classroom experience and texts for scientific dissemination to the general public. The texts sent will be evaluated in a double-blind regime by at least two external specialists, members of the Editorial Board or ad-hoc evaluators invited to do so.
