International PhD in Contemporary History from the Universitat de València (UV), where he currently works as Associate Professor and Coordinator of its Contemporary History Area. During this semester, he is Visiting Professor in the Graduate Program in History at the Federal University Juiz de Fora.
From 2010 to 2015, he worked as a researcher and, subsequently, as project head at the Cluster of Excellence “Religion and Politics” at the University of Münster (Germany). He has carried out research stays at the universities of Potsdam (Germany), Modena e Reggio Emilia (Italy), Complutense de Madrid (Spain), Vienna (Austria) and Freie Berlin (Germany). He has been Visiting Professor at the universities of Humboldt in Berlin and Potsdam (Germany), as well as in Vienna (Austria).
He is a member of the Coordination of the Aula d’Història i Memòria Democràtica (AHMD) of the UV and of the Executive Committee of the Research Network Direitas, História e Memória (DHM). Currently, he is Principal Investigator 2 of the project “Gender and Franco’s Nation. Transnational and intersectional perspectives” (PID2022-141082NB-22), funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation (2023-2026).
Her recent research focuses on fascism from transnational and gender perspectives, as well as on the symbolic construction of Franco’s dictatorship and its survival in the current Spanish democracy after 1977.
