Adjunct Professor of Contemporary History in the Graduate Program in History (Programa de Pós-Graduação em História – PPGH) at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora – UFJF). Editor of Locus: Revista de História [Locus: History Journal] (UFJF). Coordinator of the Far-Right Observatory (Observatório da Extrema Direita) (CNPq/UFJF) and the Laboratory of Political and Social History (Laboratório de História Política e Social – LAHPS/UFJF). PhD in History from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul – UFRGS), with doctoral research at the Institute of Social Sciences, University of Lisbon (Instituto de Ciências Sociais da Universidade de Lisboa – ICS-ULisboa). Research Associate in the “Contemporary right-wing: dictatorships and democracies” (“Derechas contemporáneas: dictaduras y democracias”) (CLACSO) working group and member of the Lusophone Connections: dictatorships and democracies in Portuguese (Conexões Lusófonas: ditadura e democracia em português) network. Member of the Executive Committee of the Right Wing, History and Memory (Direitas, História e Memória) network and the scientific committee of the Observatory of Negationism (Observatório do Negacionismo). His research and teaching activities focus on contemporary history and the history of the present time, working mainly on the following themes: right-wing extremism, fascisms, neo-fascisms, the radical right-wing and transnational processes of the extreme right. He is also interested in the fields of digital history and public history.
