Collaborating Professor in the Graduate Program in History (Programa de Pós-Graduação em História – PPGH) and Retired Full Professor in the Department of History at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora – UFJF). PhD in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro – UFRJ), with postdoctoral research in the United States: in Latin American Studies at the University of Maryland College-Park (USA); in Jesuit Studies at Woodstock Theological Center, at Georgetown University (USA); and on the work of the Brazilianist Richard Morse at the Latin American Center at Georgetown University, USA. She has experience in the area of history, with an emphasis on the intellectual history of America and Brazil, working mainly on the following topics: history and literature in Latin America, Richard Morse, Oswald de Andrade, counter-reformation in the Ibero-American world and United States history.
