Professor of the Graduate Program in History and the Course of History at the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos – UNISINOS. Graduate and master in history. Doctor in Ibero-American Studies at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), with PhD internship at the Università degli Studi di Genova (2013). She was a visiting professor at the Università Ca’Foscari, Venice (2023-2024). Coordinates the Social History: Scale, Trajectories and Atlantic Connections (GEPHS) research group of the CNPQ. Develops research mainly in the following topics: History of immigration and colonization in Brazil Empire and Republic, social networks and migration strategies, Social history of crime and justice, honor, violence, women, family, madness, peasant universe, processes of racialization, ethnic-racial conflicts. In the field of Social History, he also devotes himself to studies of trajectory, the methodology of Micro-history and Connected History in Global perspective, Local and Public History.
