Professor of History of Art and Culture at the Department of History of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora and the Graduate Program in History (PPGH). Currently holds the position of coordinator of the Graduate Program in History of UFJF and the direction of the editorial label, ClioEdel/ UFJF. Doctor in History of Art and Culture by the State University of Campinas (Unicamp). He was a guest researcher at INHA – Institut National d’Histoire de l’Art, Paris – in 2012 and guest professor at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia – headquarters Medellín, UNCM, Colombia, in 2017. Post-doctorate at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (2021-2022) and at Unicamp (2014). Researcher at the Centre for the History of Art and Archaeology (CHAA). Coordinator at LAHA – Laboratório de História da Arte/UFJF. He is an associate editor of the magazine História da Arte e da Cultura (RHAC, IFCH/Unicamp). Member of CBHA – Brazilian Art History Committee and Member of AICA – Association internationale des critiques d’art.
