Full Professor of Brazilian History in the Department of History and in the Graduate Program in History at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, and FAPEMIG researcher. She completed postdoctoral research at UFRJ (2008) and at the Pablo de Olavide University of Seville (2015). She was pro-rector of Graduate Studies and Research at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora from 2016 to July 2023. She supervises master’s and doctoral research projects on topics related to digital humanities, slavery, the free population of color, family history, and agrarian societies from the eighteenth century to the present day.
