Locus: Revista de História [Locus: History Journal] is a biannual journal based on the principles of open access. The primary focus of the journal is the area of history, but it is also open to relevant contributions from other areas of the human sciences, based on an editorial analysis.
The journal’s mission is to promote the enrichment of academic debates and to serve as a means of dissemination to a broader audience. It employs an anonymous and careful evaluation to achieve this objective, ensuring the greatest possible neutrality of opinions and the selection of quality texts on the topic. As such, it does not theoretically or methodologically restrict proposals, guaranteeing isonomy in the evaluations.
Faces de Clio [Faces of Clio] is an electronic journal by the Graduate Program in History at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (Programa de Pós-Graduação em História da Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora – PPGH/UFJF). It is a biannual journal, and its primary objective is to publish articles, essays, research projects, reviews, interviews and dossiers related to the field of history. Since its inception, it has worked to disseminate the research results of both those holding PhDs and master’s and doctoral students.
The journal aims to establish a space for historiographical debate that includes the current scientific production in all its theoretical, methodological and thematic diversity, focusing on the area of history. However, it also welcomes contributions that are in some way aligned with historical knowledge, such as sociology, anthropology, education and political science.
The ClioEdel publishing imprint is responsible for developing proposals for publications in the area of history with Editora UFJF, the university’s publisher, and for submitting manuscripts resulting from original research work or aimed at scientific dissemination on its different levels, such as books, reference works, academic monographs, documents and various primary sources, periodicals and other materials.
