– MANAGEMENT OF THE AGRIBUSINESS OF MILK AND DERIVATIVES: The research line aims to deepen the knowledge of the agribusiness of milk and dairy products, aiming at the following aspects: economics for business, local development, quantitative methods applied to the agribusiness of milk and dairy products, people management, environmental law and management policies. environment, globalization and foreign trade, market research and rural marketing, agricultural commodities financial market, accounting and analysis of the performance of the agricultural company, operational research applied to agribusiness, elaboration and analysis of agribusiness projects, commercialization of products.

– NEW PRODUCTS AND PROCESSES: The research line aims to deepen scientific and technological knowledge associated with the development of products and processes, enabling professionals to apply this knowledge in the search for innovative solutions in their professional activities. The development of new physical and chemical methods for analyzing milk and dairy products will also be emphasized. In this way, the independent development of Brazilian companies in aspects such as productivity and quality will be strengthened. He will be able to work in the various modalities of the dairy industries and as consultants to public and private bodies linked to the area of ​​milk and dairy products.

– QUALITY OF MILK AND DERIVATIVES: The research line aims to meet the specifics of the food safety area, which ensure the quality of milk and dairy products, contemplating the study of new technologies and trends that ensure the production of milk with proven quality standards. It is proposed to deepen scientific and technological knowledge, which include pathogenic microorganisms and toxic metabolites, preventive and operational control of industrial process hygiene, quality tools, such as sensory analysis and food safety. It is expected that the future master will improve his skills to solve problems related to the production chain, marketing and consumption of milk and dairy products. This broad training qualifies him to work in public and private bodies in the management of quality sectors of milk and dairy products, health surveillance and to provide consultancy to industries, among others.
