Introduction

The Graduate Program in Rehabilitation Sciences and Physical-Functional Performance – master course was approved and recommended by Coordination of Superior Level Staff Improvement in March 2016.

Its objective is to train professionals to teach higher education, develop skills and competencies, incorporate concepts, objects, and research tools in physical-functional performance and rehabilitation focused on the population’s health needs. The program trains researchers to develop Physical Education, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Occupational Therapy areas of the Coordination of Superior Level Staff Improvement. Additionally, it aims to contribute to the increase of scientific production in the Zona da Mata region, in the state of Minas Gerais and the country, promoting evidence-based practice by professionals in the area and working in health systems.
