I- Cardiorespiratory performance and rehabilitation in different health conditions
This research interest investigates the development of qualitative and quantitative methods for evaluating the performance and tolerance of the cardiac, peripheral vascular, and pulmonary systems in healthy individuals and different pathological conditions. In addition, it studies prescription strategies and the effectiveness of physical interventions such as exercise, an integral and indispensable part of rehabilitation programs.
II- Assessment and intervention processes associated with the neuromusculoskeletal system
This research interest approaches the evaluation and intervention processes of the neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems’ physical-functional aspects and molecular and cellular foundations. It emphasizes the maintenance and recovery of functional performance, physical capacity, motor development, and postural adjustments in the face of neuromusculoskeletal disorders.
