Biodiversidade em Pauta magazine

We present the journal BIODIVERSIDADE EM PAUTA, a publication affiliated with the Graduate Program in Biodiversity and Nature Conservation at UFJF, aimed at communication and reflections on biodiversity and nature conservation. The journal publishes popular science articles in various subfields of biodiversity, as well as its integration into basic education.

The goal of this publication is to provide another communication channel between the knowledge produced in universities and research institutes and society, through texts in Portuguese. It aims to contribute to scientific education and expand the reach of research results in biodiversity. The texts published will be written in accessible language for a broader audience, typically over 18 years old, such as professionals in the environmental field, technicians, businesspeople, consultants, undergraduate students from environmental and conservation-related courses, and teachers in basic education. These teachers may use the texts to transmit knowledge about biodiversity in biology classes, also helping to promote the inclusion of environmental education in basic education.
