Making use of intellectual production about brazilian cinema that includes periodicals, books, articles, essays and cinematographic chronicles, this course intends to understand the ideological dimensions that surround the history of cinema in Brazil as far as its practice (economy and market), the stylistic and authorial elements, taking into consideration the historical, social and political aspects.
