Onto-epistemic fundaments: Scientific Materialism/Ontology of Social Being/Social Determination of Thought.
Main research interests:
1. History of Management. Study based on scientific materialism on the history of management and business (managerial practice, technical basis, and organization of work), the history of management thought (concrete conditions of genesis of forms of consciousness and function of doctrines as ideology) and management science (scientific ideas and practices in management) in the capitalist mode of production. We consider such studies at the interface with economic history and especially the history of economic thought.
2. Political Economy of Organizations. To study, on one hand, the contemporary transformations of the labor process and technology associated with the technical basis and organization of labor in large capitalist corporations and, on the other hand, state action as a historically determined mode of political management of capitalist accumulation and its contradictory expressions, involving the field of problematics of the critique of political economy and the economics of organizations.
