About the program
Goals
The main goals of the program are:
- to prepare the students for the scientific career, enabling them to become professors and researchers in high level;
- to contribute into the development of the areas of Pure and Applied Mathematics, aiming the creation as well as the consolidation of new research groups.
Graduate students positions
We offer approximately 15 positions annually.
Duration of the program
The student can not stay less than 12 months or longer than 24 months in the program.
Student Admission to the Program
Regular Students: The candidate must have a bachelor degree in mathematics or in other related area to apply for a position. Special students-PICME: consult specific notice.
