Altemir José Gonçalves Barbosa – PhD in Psychology/PUC Campinas/BR

Psychologist, MSc in School Psychology and PhD in Psychology. He is currently a professor in the Department of Psychology and in the Graduate Program in Psychology at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora. He conducts research, outreach projects and educational activities with emphasis in School Psychology, mainly based on the following topics: Educational technology; Psychosocial Development and Education; Inclusive Education; Human Development and New Technologies; Information Technology and Psychology, Skills and Talent, Psychological Assessment.

Claudia Nascimento Guaraldo Justi – PhD in Cognitive Psychology/UFPE/BR
Cláudia Justi received her Master’s Degree in Psychology (Developmental Psychology) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2006) and her PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2009). She has experience in Psychology, with an emphasis on Developmental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology and School Psychology. She has been at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (Psychology Department) since 2010, and cofounded the Cognition and Language Research Group with Francis Justi. Her research addresses the cognitive processes underlying reading and writing. It aims to a better understanding of predictors of reading and writing, helping in prevention and intervention programs for reading and writing difficulties. Other topics of interest are oral language development and mathematical cognition.

Claudia Helena Cerqueira Mármora – PhD in Linguistics/UNICAMP/BR
Bachelor in Physiotherapy from the Catholic University of Campinas (1986), Master and PhD in Linguistics from the State University of Campinas (2000 and 2005). She is currently associate professor II of the Physiotherapy School of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora where she develops studies and research in the field of Neurofunctional Physiotherapy related to Neurosciences and Public Health. She is a permanent professor at the Graduate Program in Psychology at UFJF, where she develops studies and research on the Human Development and Socio-Educational Processes and Psychosocial Processes in Health, whose main themes are focused on Neurosciences and therapeutic intervention on functional health; Psychoneuroimmunology; Gerontology and Health of the Elderly. She is tutor Tutor of Health Multiprofessional Internship Program in Adult Health with emphasis on Chronic-degenerative Diseases where she develops studies on Leprosy, HIV and Diabetes. He has published in the Editors of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora the following books books “Language, Aphasia and (apraxia) a neurolinguistic perspective” in 2004 and “A (A) praxia in Alzheimer’s Disease” in 2013. She is a member of the Brazilian Society of Neurosciences And Behavior (SBNeC, the Brazilian Association of Neurofunctional Physiotherapy (ABRAFIN, the Brazilian Society of Hansenology (SBH) and the Society for Social Neuroscience (S4SN. Francis Ricardo dos Reis Justi – PhD in Cognitive Psychology/UFPE/BR
Francis Justi received his Master’s Degree in Psychology (Developmental Psychology) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2006) and his PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2009). He has experience in Cognitive Science, with an emphasis on Experimental Cognitive Psychology, and Developmental Psychology. He taught Cognitive Psychology at the Federal University of Alagoas until 2012. He has been at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora – UFJF (Psychology Department) since 2013, and cofounded the Cognition and Language Research Group with Cláudia Justi at UFJF. His main research addresses visual word recognition and memory. It also aims to test computational models of reading development. Other topics of interest include executive functions, human rationality, and explanation in cognitive science.

Marisa Cosenza Rodrigues – PhD in Psychology/PUC Campinas/BR
Graduated in Psychology from Centro de Ensino Superior (1984), she is specialized in school psychology and learning from PUC-Campinas (1996), has a Master’s Degree in Psychology (Social Psychology) from the Gama Filho University (1990) and a PhD in Psychology from the Catholic University of Campinas (2004). He is currently an associate professor of level III at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (undergraduate and graduate levels) and Tutor of the Tutorial Education Program – MEC/PET-Psychology (UFJF). She has experience in the field of Psychology, with an emphasis on the Implementation and Evaluation of Prevention Programs and Promotion of Psychological Health, acting in the following areas: theory of mind, social and social-cognitive development and research in school/educational psychology.

Nara Liana Pereira Silva – PhD in Psychology/UNB/BR
Graduated in Psychology from the Catholic University of Goiás (1993), Master’s Degree (2000) and PhD in Psychology from the University of Brasilia (2003). She is currently teaching (associate professor 4) in the Department of Psychology and in the graduate program at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora. She works with research in the area of ​​human development, focusing on research with families, especially children/adolescents and adults with Down syndrome, on the following topics: families with people with intellectual disabilities, family interactions, inclusive education, inclusion at work.

Alexander Moreira de Almeida – PhD in Psychiatry/USP/BR
Associate Professor of Psychiatry, School of Medicine, Federal University of Juiz de Fora-UFJF, founder and director of NUPES (Research Center of Spirituality and Health of UFJF). Coordinator of the sections about spirituality and psychiatry at the World Psychiatric Association and the Brazilian Association of Psychiatry. Coordinator of the elaboration of the Position Statement on Spirituality and Religion of the Psychiatry World Psychiatric Association (WPA). Research coordinator in the Graduate Program of Health at UFJF. Coordinator of TV NUPES. Graduated in Medicine from UFJF (1997), specialized in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from USP (2000), residency and doctorate in psychiatry from USP (2005) and post-doctorate from Duke University, USA (2006). He used to be the coordinator of graduate programs at UFJF (2011-3), head of Psychiatry and Medical Psychology at the University Hospital of UFJF (2009-11), and now acts as a reviewer for dozens of scientific journals. Special Edition guest editor on “Spirituality and Health” in the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry (2007), over 300 thousand accesses in the Scielo database. Editor of the book “Exploring frontiers of mind-brain relationship” (Springer, 2012). He acts mainly in the investigation of the relationships between health and spirituality, as well as psychotic and dissociative experiences in nonclinical population. Other areas of interest: the mind-brain relationship, philosophy and history of science.

She is currently as associate professor in the Department of Psychology at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF). He served as an associate professor in the Department of Medicine at UFJF – Governador Valadares Campus – from March 2014 to February 2015. Professor of Post Graduate Program in Psychology – UFJF – and of the Multiprofessional Residency in Adult Health – HU-CAS-UFJF. Coordinator of the Center of Applied Psychology (CPA) at UFJF. Vice-coordinator of the Interdisciplinary Center for Research in Psychosomatics, Health and Organizations (NUIPSO) – UFJF. Fernando Antonio Basile Colugnati – PhD in Nutrition/UNIFESP/BR
He holds a degree in Statistics from the University of Campinas (Unicamp, 1994), a Master’s Degree in Statistics from the University of Campinas (Unicamp, 2001) and a PhD in Sciences from UNIFESP (2005). Currently, he is an associate professor in the Department of Hospitalization/FM/UFJF (2013) and advisor of the Graduate Program in Psychology and Health (UFJF) where he supervises students writing their dissertations for obtaining the Master’s Degree (6 in progress and 2 completed) and the PhD (1 in progress) as well as scientific programs. He is also developing research at the Interdisciplinary Center for Studies and Research in Nephrology (NIEPEN/UFJF) regarding evaluating costs and health technologies. Now two of his research projects are being funded by FAPEMIG, and he collaborating in other areas of study of the group. In the Reference Center for Research, Intervention and Evaluation on Alcohol and Other Drugs (CREPEIA/UFJF), he collaborates with projects which assess public service for drug addicts, epidemiology of smoking and the development and validation of psychometric instruments. He is a member of the International Society for Pharmachological and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) and the International Society of Biometry (ISB – RBRAS). He collaborates to the Journal of Tropical Medicine regarding for statistical methods, and is a reviewer for several national and international journals. He has experience in the field of probability and statistics, with emphasis on Biostatistics, studying the following topics: correspondence analysis, multivariate analysis and generalized linear models and Markov models with application in epidemiology. He has worked as a research associate at the Institute for Research in Technology and Innovation (IPTI), with application of probabilistic methods in the decision support systems (Bayesian networks) and Stochastic Models for Social Network Analysis. Within this research line, an academic internship was performed at the Higher Lever Institute of Lisbon (Superior Técnico de Lisboa), as part of the ALFA program of the European Commission. He is also as a collaborator researcher with the GEOPI/DPCT/IG/UNICAMP in the field of results assessment and impacts on CT&I programs, where he did his postdoctoral studies, having participated in the evaluation of programs such as the IT Act (MCT) and in programs to foster research at FAPESP, as the IC Scholarship. Associate Professor IV of the Department of Psychology at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora. She worked as a teacher at PRODOC/CAPES in the Graduate Program in Psychology, linked to the Political Psychology Center of the Federal University of Minas Gerais – UFMG (2008-2009). PhD in Psychology from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2008), she was held a scholarship abroad given by Capes that included a doctoral internship period at the University of Minho in Portugal (2006). Gustavo Arja Castañon – PhD in Psychology/UFRJ/BR
Graduated in Psychology from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (1998) and in Philosophy from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2006). Master’s Degree in Social Psychology from UERJ (2001) and Logics and Metaphysics from UFRJ (2009). Doctorate in Psychology from UFRJ (2006) and Post-doctorate in the Philosophy of Science from Durham University (2015). He is an associate professor of the Department of Philosophy of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora and a professor in the Graduate Program in Psychology in the same institution. He acts as a researcher at NUHIFIP (Center for History and Philosophy of Psychology), UFJF, at NUPES (Research Center in Spirituality and Health), UFJF, and at CEPISHC (Epistemology Center and History of Science) of PPGLM, UFRJ. Graduated in Psychology (1999) from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). Master’s Degree in Philosophy and Methodology of Science (2002) and Doctor of Philosophy (2006) from the same institution. She did her post-doctoral internship (2007-2009) at the Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences (IFCH) of the State University of Campinas (Unicamp). She is the author, among other works, of “The Birth of Metapsychology: representation and consciousness in the early work of Freud” (O nascimento da metapsicologia: representação e consciência na obra inicial de Freud, EDUFSCar and FAPESP, 2008), “Freud e a natureza do psíquico” (Freud and the nature of the psychical, Anna Blume and FAPESP, 2010) and “Between body and consciousness: essays in interpretation of Freudian metapsychology” (Entre corpo e consciência: ensaios de interpretação da metapsicologia freudiana, EDUFSCar 2011, co-authored with R.T. Saulo de Freitas Araujo – PhD in Philosophy/UNICAMP/BR

He is also Director of the NUHFIP (Center for History and Philosophy of Psychology Wilhelm Wundt) at UFJF. He has experience in Psychology and Philosophy, with emphasis in History and Philosophy of Psychology, Theories and Systems in Psychology, studying the following topics: Kant and psychology, evolution of the project of a scientific psychology, the thought of Wilhelm Wundt and William James, the mind-brain problem in philosophy and psychology. Holder of a CNPq Productivity Scholarship.

Walter Melo Júnior  – PhD in Philosophy/UERJ/BR

Graduated in Psychology from the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) (1992), Residency in Clinical-Institutional Psychology by UERJ (1997), Master in Clinical Psychology from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2000), PhD in Social Psychology by UERJ (2005) and Post-Doctorate by the Sorbonne (in progress). Associate Professor I of the Federal University of São João Del Rei. Coordinator of the Caminhos Junguianos Research Group. Coordinator of the Work Group Epistemology and Interfaces of Analytical Psychology, linked to the National Association of Research and Graduate Studies in Psychology (ANPEPP). Areas of work: history of analytical psychology, theoretical-methodological foundations of analytical psychology, theoretical-methodological foundations of Nise da Silveira’s work.
