O seminário será ministrado pelo professor Cristiano Ferraz, do Departamento de Estatística da UFPE, dia 14/08/18, às 15h, no Auditório do prédio do DCC/Estatística.
Título: Multiple Frames Design in Agricultural Surveys
Resumo: In this talk the efficiency of multiple frame designs for agricultural surveys will be discussed, based on the literature and on results of field experiments carried out for the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, in different countries. Challenges using area sampling and list frame sampling will be highlighted and the feasibility of using dual frame designs to increase statistics precision will be discussed.
