About

The FISIOCOMP Lab – Computational Physiology and High Performance Computing Laboratory – aims at developing computational and mathematical tools for the simulation of complex physics in basic and applied physiology.

Our research activities are truly multidisciplinary, and it brings together cardiac electrophysiology, cardiac mechanics, immune system, parallel computing, web-based applications, compilers, finite elements, boundary elements, multigrid, domain decomposition techniques, medical research and clinical practice.

Our current projects focus mainly on cardiac electrophysiology, mechanics and immune system models.
The laboratory structure comprises recent HPC clusters equipped with modern GPUs dedicated for scientific computing.
