Overview

The 5th Meeting on Applied Economics (EEA) will be held on September 2 and 3, 2026, in person, at the UFJF School of Economics, in the city of Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais.

The event is organized by the Graduate Program in Economics (PPGE) at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, with the aim of contributing to the discussion, promotion, and dissemination of academic studies in applied economics.

The Meeting builds on previous editions around the following themes — Regional Economics, Social and Labor Economics, and Applied Macroeconomics — which are the main areas of activity of the PPGE. Its goal is to provide an opportunity to bring together economists, researchers, and research professionals from the community, universities, and various knowledge-producing organizations.
