The hotel and Convention Center is very close to a cosy commercial mall, called Independencia Shopping, with plenty of options for fast food, cinemas and shopping.

The path from the airport to Juiz de Fora can be made by means of a shuttle from the airport to the City Bus Station (Rodoviaria de Juiz de Fora), which is 7 km away from the city downtown. From there, one could get a taxi to reach his/her hotel. Juiz de Fora main Airport (code IZA, Zona da Mata) is served by Azul and GOL air companies, with flights departing from Campinas – Viracopos (VCP) and Sao Paulo – Congonhas (CGH) domestic aiports, respectively. Passaredo air company has recently announced flights to/from Sao Paulo Guarulho (GRU) and Belo Horizonte (PLU) and Juiz de Fora center airport (JDF) starting on next November.

Alternatively, one could opt to fly to Rio de Janeiro International Airport – Antonio Carlos Jobim (formerly, Galeao International Airport) and get a bus from there to Juiz de Fora (a trip of around 3 hours by BR-040 highway).

Another option to coming to Juiz de Fora is going to Rio de Janeiro Novo Rio Bus Station and get a regional bus from there to Juiz de Fora. The distance between Rio and Juiz de Fora is around 180 km by highway and there are available buses almost hourly connecting both cities. Once again, one arrives at the Municipal Bus Station of Juiz de Fora (Rodoviaria de Juiz de Fora) and can get a taxi to his/her hotel.
