PPgS offers basic core courses in health research methods, and each core offers a wide range of specialized courses in subject areas, usually with the name “Advanced Topics in…”, according to the demand of students and the availability of professors.
Each course has its workload expressed in credits. Each credit corresponds to fifteen (15) hours of actual instruction:
I – In the M.Sc. program, the number of credits will be composed of at least ten (10) compulsory courses credits, ten (10) optional credits and five credits for the Master’s dissertation, totalling 25 (twenty-five) credits.
II – In the PhD program, the number of credits will be composed of at least ten (10) compulsory courses credits, ten (10) optional credits and 10 (ten) credits for the Doctoral Thesis, totalling thirty (30) credits.
