The Knowledge Diffusion Center – KDC (CDC) (www.ufjf.br/biblioteca) is the body that manages and administers the UFJF Library System, comprising 18 libraries located in various academic and cultural units with specialized collections. The KDC centralizes and coordinates the services and informational products of the UFJF libraries, gathering, organizing and disseminating the documentary information necessary for the development of the University’s teaching, research and extension activities. All works can be searched and booked through the Pergamum online system (http://pergamum.ufjf.br/pergamum/biblioteca/index.php).
The UFJF library provides training to students and teachers in bibliographic standardization (ABNT), bibliography management with EndNote, access to the CAPES Journal Portal, scientific search in databases and use of the library with the Pergamum System.
The Digital Institutional Repository of Scientific and Intellectual Production at UFJF – Ri-UFJF (https://repositorio.ufjf.br/jspui) aims to gather, standardize, manage, preserve, disseminate and guarantee free, reliable and permanent access to academic, scientific and artistic documents generated at the University, maximizing the use of these resources and increasing the visibility of UFJF’s scientific information. The Theses produced at UFJF from the year 2008 are available for digital public access.
In order to facilitate and universalize access and allow better control of the works, all books and dissertations previously stored on the premises of PgP in Dentistry were transferred to the Library of the UFJF School of Dentistry, making a total of 116 books and 208 volumes of dissertations written by alumni. As all works stored in the Library, these books and dissertations are available for consultation and/or loan, in addition to being registered in the UFJF online system.
