Lines of Research

I – Diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of diseases in Dentistry: This line of research aims to address, through epidemiological, clinical and laboratory studies, the development and evaluation of diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for problems in the mouth and structures of the skull and face. Also included in this line are projects that evaluate materials for dental use as therapeutic resources.

II – Technological Innovation in Dentistry: The development and assessment of health technologies is the objective of this line. Therefore, projects that envisage both the dissemination through scientific articles and the filing of patents are developed. The recognition of the importance of technological innovation in health means that this line has amplitude at different levels of health care, both for use at the individual and collective levels.
