The program
The Postgraduate Program in Dentistry at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora began in March 2007 and currently offers Academic Master’s and Doctoral Degree Courses with concept 4 from CAPES. The Program also offers a Postdoctoral Internship in Dentistry.
Admission to Master’s and Doctorate courses is through specific notices that are generally opened in May/June of every year. The entry into the Postdoctoral Internship happens by spontaneous demand, being consented by the permanent professor who will supervise the research and approved by the Program’s Collegiate Body.
The objective of the Program is to train highly qualified masters and doctors to develop and coordinate research and teaching activities, capable of practicing quality science and of producing and transmitting relevant scientific knowledge, generating scientific knowledge and relevant social transformation practices and quality in the Health Area, especially in Dentistry and carrying out practices aimed at the social development of the region, through socio-educational activities.
