In 2018, CAPES approved and recommended the Postgraduate Program (Stricto Sensu) at the Master’s level. Its goal is to train independent health sciences teachers and researchers with knowledge related to the Biosciences in various research lines that focus on population health needs.
Along with preparing students for collaborative and integrative work, the program also aims to develop students who can produce solid and long-lasting scientific knowledge for the nation and the region in the areas of biological and pathophysiological processes, evaluation, and intervention, as well as an interface between teaching and research supported by theoretical-experiential bases of interdisciplinarity through the convergence of various fields of knowledge.
