The Multiuser Laboratory for Biodiversity Research (MULTIBIO) is linked to the Graduate Program in Biodiversity and Nature Conservation at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF) and aims to enable the implementation of interdisciplinary projects in basic and applied research and to provide multiuser equipment, with the purpose of supporting graduate level research activities, innovation and provision of services.

 MULTIBIO objectives are: to support scientific research activities, to increase the efficiency of the use of research resources and to enable the professors involved to expand the quantity and quality of scientific knowledge produced in the area of ​​biodiversity, through dissertations, theses, publications of scientific articles and patents.

The utilization of the MULTIBIO lab is intended for professors, researchers and students of UFJF and other research institutions. Undergraduate students may use the MULTIBIO Laboratory only if accompanied by a professor, researcher or graduate student. External users may use the MULTIBIO lab as long as they are accompanied by a lab technician, and duly approved by the Infrastructure, Standards and Procedures Committee of the Graduate Program in Biodiversity and Nature Conservation.
