Full Professorship for Biomedical Sciences at Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF) School of Medicine, Juiz de Fora (MG), Brazil.

A tenure track (3 years) faculty position for Full Professor to work at the Health Sciences Postgraduate Program – HSPP (Department of Internal Medicine, School of Medicine) conducting interdisciplinary biomedical research and mentoring Master and PhD students, as well as postdoctoral fellows. The selected candidate will be expected to play a major role in the development of the HSPP. Currently, the HSPP has 30 faculty members, 86 PhD and 67 MSc students in different areas of biomedical research (www.ufjf.br/ppgsaude-eng). It is rated 5 (very good) by CAPES, the federal agency that regulates and evaluates post-graduation programs in Brazil.

Portuguese proficiency is not required.

We accept candidates from all areas of biomedical or health sciences (e.g.: medicine, neurosciences, immunology, psychology, biostatistics, genomic medicine, microbiology, pharmacology, public health, epidemiologyetc.).

Candidates should have excellence in research with international impact, but teaching and administrative experiences arealso much valued.
